Reasons You Are Not Making Money On The Internet

There are several reasons why you may be having a hard time increasing your sales for your product or service. If you do not know what you are doing wrong, it is hard to make a change in your business. In this article, I will discuss potential pitfalls you may be making in your business.
Number one, you do not have a product or service to sell. I really recommend creating an info product because selling information on the internet is really very, very easy.
The second reason you might not be making any money is because you are not in front of enough people. It is too expensive to market outside your geographical areas in some cases. Some of you have a service that really does not lend itself well to a national audience. For example, if you are an attorney in Houston that does not really lend itself that well to a whole national audience. However, you know if you could get in front of more people you could get more business.
Another reason you are not making more money is that you are not in front of the right people. It is hard to pre-qualify over the phone. I remember my remodeling days; it just was not real easy to find out over the phone whether someone was really interested in my services or whether I would be wasting my time. You are spending time and money on people who are not interested, and will never buy because you do not have a good way to pre-qualify them.
Yet another reason you might not be making more money is you do not have the attention of potential customers long enough. Yellow page ads, newspapers, and even a 30 second commercial in many cases are not long enough to get your point across. If you have hard to sell or complicated products or services, then it is really hard to do it any other way besides one-on-one appointments. For example, people in the financial realm, realtors, doctors, attorneys, and chiropractors. You need to have those one-on-one appointments, which take a lot of time and are not very efficient.
Or the last reason you are not making more money, is that you are not giving potential customers a reason to buy now. Many people fail to provide a deadline or incentive to encourage people to take the chance on their product and miss out on sales.
As you can see, these are all potential reasons you might be having a hard time making money on the internet. In further articles, I will discuss how to remedy these challenges in your business.
